How to improve your credit rating

January is the month when everyone gets their finances in check after an expensive Christmas. Ideally, this annual process should also involve investigating how your credit rating is doing and also how you might improve it.

Because checking your credit rating is something you are advised to do annually, we thought we would search high and low to find you all the information you will need to improve your score. That way, when you get a copy of your report, you will be better prepared for what it is telling you and how it is affecting you when you apply for credit.

If you identify any problems with your credit report, use our free 'Letter Templates' to write to the necessary people to get the problem resolved.
