Guide to pet insurance

According to the Pet Health Council, almost half of UK households have a pet animal but only 15% of all pets are covered by pet insurance.

If you have a pet, it’s because you care for animals. You like the way they make you feel and, sometimes, they can put a smile on your face when nobody else can.

They will love you unconditionally (as long as you provide them with food, walks and a nice comfy place in the sun to lie) and try to keep you safe.

It is likely that the thought of your pet becoming ill is a worrying one. Not only will you be worried about the health of someone dear to you, but you will also have to consider how you are going to pay to get them feeling better.

This is where pet insurance comes in.

Our guide to pet insurance will explain all you need to know to help you make an informed decision when it comes to covering your pet including pros and cons of policies, what to look for, choosing a suitable policy and where to go for further information.
