6. Using your credit card

When you come to use your credit card, you may be confronted by a number of issues.

You may wonder where and when your credit card(s) can be used, what things to consider when choosing which of your credit cards to use if you have more than one, plus how you can manage your credit card account once it is up and running.

This section aims to highlight these issues, explain where possible problems could arise and talk you through ways to deal with them if and when they do.

If you know how to use your credit card you will be less likely to encounter common problems, such as being charged late payment fees, forgetting your PIN number and trying to use your credit card in the wrong places or at the wrong time.
