Some credit card companies will have their own online banking services that can be used by their credit card customers. You can use this service to pay your bill but you must make the payment at least 2 days before the payment due date.
Bank with credit card provider
If you also bank with your credit card provider, and are already registered for their online banking service, you can pay your credit card bill using this service. You will need to make your payment at least 2 working days before your payment due date.
Don’t bank with credit card provider
If you don’t bank with your credit card provider, you can use your own bank’s online service to pay your credit card bill. You will need to make your payment at least 3 working days before the payment due date.
When using your own bank’s online banking to pay your credit card bill, you will need to know where to send the payment. On the back of your credit card bill you should find details of your credit card provider’s sort code and account number. You will need to enter these details in when you make your payment, along with the payment amount, and probably your credit card number.
