fairly good at quick payment
No discount for more than one pet
Premiums higher than most
No "loyalty" discounts for long standing customers
No Nectar points awarded for premium payments
No offer of help towards vaccination charges
No discount for "chipped" pets
Having been with Sainsburys for some years, this year has seen a massive hike in premiums for no apparently good reason (I did check!). My dog and cat insurances have risen by approx £10 per month each. I realise that vet fees have risen but the rise in premiums has been disproportionate. Until April I had three pets insured (I still have two) but have never been offered any discount despite all my pets having been relatively healthy. So, expensive cover!

Even though Sainsbury's pet insurance isn't the cheapest out there I stick with them because I found that other companies didn't offer the same excellent level of cover.
They are also very helpful.
