get a hired car if you're fully comp
their advisers give out incorrect (dangerous) advice, decisions, information.
my car is 17 yrs old & never had a bump, dent or accidents in the 7 yrs ive had her. other party admitted it was her fault she drove into my parked car & damage the offside front wing panel. from the second day till now, i have been given 5 different stories that could make me make the worse decision of my life due to their incompeltance. even the manager of the claims department, her words are now gone back on. i don't trust them anymore & now i am looking at my car being written off even though its cosmetic damage. even if i got a new m.o.t, they still wouldnt insure me. i would be making a total loss all because i made a phone call to sheilas wheels to say someone has damage my car. car wasn't even looked at properly, ie - to see if the suspension is damaged. it also seems, i am not entitled to take my car & get my own 2nd opinion which is clearly stated in the terms & conditons. which ever way, i have lost my car & looking at getting nothing off them. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU HAVE AN OLD CAR WITH A STREET PRIVATE VALUE OF LESS THAN £1000, mine is £350!!! im devastated, really upset, had panic attacks because of the advisers at sheilas wheels. im going to the financial ombusman. don't bother with sheilas wheels, you will end up loosing your car if you make that call :(
