Very good cover for high value items.
We've been with Direct Line Home Insurance for many years now, and have made 3 claims, including a collapsed drain which they arranged for the very good repair of; The broken glass in our front door (caught by the wind) which the repairer bodged - Direct Line refused to pay out for a new one, so we had to replace it ourselves; and a leaking roof that damaged the bedroom ceiling - the assessor came and a cheque followed in the post after redecoration.
Two out of three ain't bad!

Reliable and costs are reasonable with good service.
Lots of paper work when making a claim, but i guess this is the same with any insurance company.
This is a decent service all round. I have not had any problems in any departements so far (fingers crossed!). The claim I made was easy, although lots of paper work! Maybe I can get someone to do it for me in the future!!
