Cancelled card without asking
These days, Lloyds TSB is appalling. It has just tried to force its customers to switch from Visa to Mastercard. It then cancelled my Visa card, but did so without telling me, so that I had the embarrassment of having the card refused. This after 10 years as a very responsible user who has spent a great deal of money on their card. Their recorded service when a card gets blocked for security reasons is a disgrace.

Card is well recognised, I have a suitable credit limit which I clear in full each month.
None really as far as the card is concerned.
The credit card protection insurance is a rip off, but to be fair Lloyds TSB didn't push it. I chose to take it as I had started a new job due to redundancy, and that experience made me financially nervous. Now I'm in an even better job I'd like to cancel this pointless insurance, because if you read the small print it only covers the minimum monthly payment.

I wanted a credit card which is well recognised and that's why I went for the Lloyds TSB Platinum. I also got a really good credit limit which comes in handy.
