Really helpful staff!! British based call centres are great.
Not a fan of automated systems. Call centres based abroad are hard to converse with. Took me ages to explain what I wanted when I rang.
I recently had some problems with my personal finance after being out of work for 3 months. I had several payments try to come out the bank and as a result incurred many bank charges. I rang up to sort this out and the chap I spoke to was amazing. He was really understanding to why I had got to where I was and talked me through my options. As far as customer service goes HSBC, this is a breath of fresh air!!
