Q: Can you insure a horse against theft like a car?

A: Yes, most policies have a theft cover element although you should check the policy details before buying to make sure.

Q: Will dog insurance cover an overnight stay for the dog at the vets if he needs treatment?

A: Most policies do cover your bills for an overnight stay for the dog, as long as the vet's bill does not exceed the maximum payout amount for a single treatment.

Q: Will my horse insurance cover minor events such as check-ups?

A: Yes it usually will but with most insurance policies there will be an excess to pay and it will depend if that makes it worth making a claim.
