Drivers praise RAC breakdown cover service

Drivers have voted RAC best for breakdown customer service.
Breakdown cover provider RAC has been voted the best service provider in its field, according to the latest UK Customer Service Index.
The report, published by the Institute of Customer Service, revealed that RAC achieved a higher score than any other breakdown provider in the poll of 26,000 adults.
The survey, which is conducted every six months, asks people about a range of areas, including professionalism, quality, efficiency and timeliness.
Neil Thompson, director of service delivery at the roadside cover provider, said that he was "delighted" with the outcome.
He commented: "With the recent freak weather conditions, we've been busier than ever and it's great to know our customers see us as the best in the business."
The company recently revealed that it attended almost 80,000 breakdowns during the eight days prior to Christmas.
Meanwhile, rival breakdown cover firm the AA dealt with 133,000 vehicle failures between December 18th and 24th and has reported the busiest winter in its 105-year history.
