Balcony fall bride 'lacked travel insurance'

Carrie-Anne Dudbridge, 27, was on honeymoon on the Greek island when she fell 30ft and fractured her spine in three places.
Ms Dudbridge and her husband Michael, 29, were under the impression that a free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) would provide all the cover they needed and did not compare travel insurance policies before leaving the UK.
But they discovered that, while an EHIC covers the cost of medical treatment, it does not meet the cost of air ambulance repatriation.
Thankfully, Mr Dudbridge was able to raise the £16,000 needed to fly his new wife home and she is now receiving treatment in a UK hospital.
A statement released by Mediaviation, the company that brought her home, confirmed: "Carrie-Anne Dudbridge is now back in the UK. She had been transported by air ambulance today and is currently in one of London's hospitals.
"Mediaviation Ltd, private air ambulance, would like to thank all people who helped with the fundraising to bring Carrie back home."
