New customers can now get £50 cash back if they buy a Tesco Car Insurance policy (excluding Tesco Value Car Insurance) before 4th February 2009.
You can now get a 50% online discount when you take out a Standard or Finest Tesco Home Insurance policy by 7th January 2009.
What’s more, you will receive £1 million building cover with a Value or Standard policy and unlimited building cover with a Finest home insurance policy, plus you will benefit from an emergency repair helpline and have access to a dedicated claims team.
In 2007, the average couple forked out £840 on presents food, drink and decorations during the Christmas period.
However, consumers should be wary that their home insurance may not cover them over the Christmas period if they go over their contents' limit.
Tesco Clubcard holders can now enjoy a 25% online discount off the price of their Tesco Car Insurance premium if they buy it before 10th December 2008 and pay by direct debit. This is the equivalent of 3 months for free.
The first two months of the price of the premium must be paid up front and then 10 consecutive payments will be made throughout the year.
You can now get a 35% online discount and £50 cashback – to spend on whatever you like – when you take out a Standard or Finest Tesco Home Insurance policy by 12th November 2008.
There is a new offer currently running on Tesco Car Insurance where new customers will receive £40 off shopping or fuel when they get a quote and buy the policy by 17th September 2008.
To qualify for the offer you must hold a valid Clubcard and enter in shop40 into the promotional code box on the quote form. You can apply for a Tesco Clubcard here.
You can now get a 40% online discount when you buy Tesco Pet Insurance with the chance of getting an extra 5% discount if you insure more than one pet.
Additionally, Tesco will also give you a free 12 month membership with the Missing Pets Bureau as part of your pet insurance policy, which will help you get your pet back should it go missing.
You can now get a 35% online discount and a £50 shopping or fuel voucher if you buy Tesco Home Insurance before 17th September 2008.
Tesco has increased its interest free balance transfer and purchase offers on its Clubcard and Bonus Credit Cards.
The provider has increased the balance transfer offer from 13 months to 14 months (subject to a balance transfer fee of 2.9%) and the 0% on purchases offer from 3 months to 6 months.
Tesco has introduced a new structure for its Home Insurance products and is offering new customers a free voucher which can be spent on shopping or fuel.
There are now three types of Tesco Home Insurance policy; Finest, Standard or Value.
Additionally, if you apply for a quote before 20th August 2008, you will receive a shopping or fuel voucher worth up to £60 when you go on to buy the policy.
The value of the voucher you receive will depend on the type of cover you buy. You will receive a £60 voucher if you buy a Tesco Finest Home Insurance policy, £40 when buying the Standard policy and £10 for buying the Tesco Value policy.
To be eligible for the voucher, you need to enter the code homevoucher into the ‘Promotional Code’ box on the Tesco Home Insurance application form.
With both the Value and Standard policies you will receive up to £1 million home building insurance cover. The Finest policy comes with unlimited building cover.
