Tesco has introduced a new structure for its Home Insurance products and is offering new customers a free voucher which can be spent on shopping or fuel.

There are now three types of Tesco Home Insurance policy; Finest, Standard or Value.

Additionally, if you apply for a quote before 20th August 2008, you will receive a shopping or fuel voucher worth up to £60 when you go on to buy the policy.

The value of the voucher you receive will depend on the type of cover you buy. You will receive a £60 voucher if you buy a Tesco Finest Home Insurance policy, £40 when buying the Standard policy and £10 for buying the Tesco Value policy.

To be eligible for the voucher, you need to enter the code homevoucher into the ‘Promotional Code’ box on the Tesco Home Insurance application form.

With both the Value and Standard policies you will receive up to £1 million home building insurance cover. The Finest policy comes with unlimited building cover.

If you get a quote for Tesco Home Insurance between 1st May 2008 and 21st June 2008 you will receive 1/3 OFF. The quote you receive can then be saved and bought at anytime within 90 days.

This offer only applies to new Tesco Home Insurance customers in their first year only.

Buy online and receive a further 10% discount off your premium.

Tesco Home Insurance offers both buildings and contents insurance and allows the addition of optional extras including accidental damage, family legal protection and personal possessions cover.

Plus, you can use your Clubcard vouchers towards the cost and earn Clubcard points on the cost of your Tesco Home Insurance premium.

What’s more, Tesco Home Insurance will replace up to £1,000 worth of stored information, such as music on an iPod.

Tesco has announced a new home insurance offer to run between the dates of 6 March and 2 April 2008.

If you get a quote for a Tesco Home Insurance policy between the above dates, and then go on to buy it, Tesco will give you an Annual Travel Insurance policy (worth over £100) absolutely FREE.

Not only that, but they will also give you a 35% discount if you buy online.

To apply for Tesco home insurance and make the most of this fantastic offer all you need to do is type in freetravel in the ‘Promotional code’ box on the application form.

This offer applies to new customers in their first year only.

Your home insurance quote will be held for 90 days. Providing you enter the promotional code freetravel when you get your quote and don’t make any changes to this, you will be entitled to the FREE travel insurance policy for 90 days.

The free travel insurance policy will be a family policy and will cover either one or two adults plus as up to 4 children under the age of 18.
