There is a new offer currently running on Tesco Car Insurance where new customers will receive £40 off shopping or fuel when they get a quote and buy the policy by 17th September 2008.

To qualify for the offer you must hold a valid Clubcard and enter in shop40 into the promotional code box on the quote form. You can apply for a Tesco Clubcard here.

What’s more, for each £2 spent on a Tesco Insurance policy Clubcard holders will receive 1 Clubcard point and you will receive an extra 10% discount if you choose to insure more than one car.

Non-Clubcard holders will receive a 15% online discount when they buy a motor insurance policy from Tesco via the internet.

Additionally, named drivers will receive up to a 50% discount when they take out their own Tesco Car Insurance policy.

When you become a Tesco Car Insurance customer you will also be eligible for exclusive discounts with Nationwide Autocentres including a free 15 point Car Safety Check, 15% off a full service and 10% off all mechanical repairs (offers are not available in Northern Ireland).

More Than is offering a new and improved no claims discount offer to its car insurance customers as of today.

When you buy a More Than Car Insurance policy you will get a 10% discount. You will then get a 20% no-claims discount in the 2nd year, and every year after that, providing you stay claim free.

Also, if you have accumulated 4 years or more no claims discount More Than will protect it for the life of your motor insurance policy.

What’s more, you will also receive a 50% discount off More Than Breakdown Cover.

Plus, you will be given a free courtesy car to use while your car is being repaired by a More Than recommended repairer following an accident (if you have Comprehensive cover).

Sainsbury’s has launched a new offer on its car insurance where new customers can get 12 months cover for the price of 10.

What’s more, customers will still be eligible for the usual 10% online discount.

Sainsbury’s Car Insurance offers its policyholders the chance to earn up to a 75% no claims discount and, in the event of an ‘insured’ accident, will arrange a free courtesy car whilst the damaged car is in for repairs.

Sainsbury’s will also replace children’s car seats automatically after an accident and provide £200 cover for any Sainsbury’s shopping in your car if it gets damaged in an accident or fire, or if it gets stolen.

Policyholders also have access to a 24 hour accident recovery service along with a 24 hour helpline.

If you get a quote for Tesco Car Insurance and buy before 25th June 2008 you will receive a voucher for a FREE Kärcher Pressure Washer worth £100. The vouchers are redeemable at Tesco Direct where delivery is available at a charge of £6.50 (max).

To benefit from this offer you need to enter the promotional code ‘pressure’ into the 'Promotional Code' box on the quote form.

This offer only applies to new Tesco Car Insurance customers and Clubcard holders in their first year only. Clubcard holder will also get 1 Clubcard point for every £2 spent on car insurance premium.
