RBS has announced that its 15 month 0% balance transfer offer on the RBS Platinum Credit Card, which was previously only available to existing RBS current account holders, is now available to everyone aged 18 and over providing they earn at least £10,000 per year.

If you are looking to compare credit cards, this is really good news for you as it is currently one of the longest balance transfer offers out there at the moment.

It’s worth bearing in mind that if you want to make the most of this balance transfer offer, you will need to transfer balances from your old credit card(s) to your new RBS card within the first three months. When making your credit card comparison, it is also worth noting that there is a 2.9% admin fee for transferring balances to this card.

The RBS Platinum also comes with 0% on purchases for 3 months and the typical APR reverts to a competitive 16.9% once the 0% offers run out.
