Barclaycard customers will now benefit from a new reward programme called Barclaycard Freedom which, unlike other reward systems, will enable cardholders to earn Reward Money and ‘not points or fiddly vouchers’.
To qualify for the Barclaycard Freedom rewards scheme you need to be a Barclaycard customer (Barclaycard Cashback, Choice, Goldfish and i24 cards are not currently part of the Freedom scheme) and existing customers can start earning Reward Money straightaway by shopping as usual at participating retailers.
Across the UK more than 30,000 retailers have been invited to be part of Barclaycard Freedom, ranging from high street stores to local shops, including Pizza Express, LA fitness and firebox.com.
Redeeming your Reward Money is simple – all you need to do is use it to pay for goods and services at selected stores. Promotions, offers and the retailers involved in the scheme will change frequently so keeping up to date with them will help you choose where to shop to get the best deals.
Keeping track of your Reward Money is simple so you will always know how much money you have earned, spent and saved. All you need to do is register at mybarclaycard (you’ll need your card and credit limit to do this) or login if you are already registered to be able to manage your Reward Money.
Plus, your till receipt at some retailers will show how much Reward Money you have earned as part of your purchase in addition to your Reward Money balance.
If you like the sound of Barclaycard Freedom but aren’t currently a Barclaycard customer you might be interested in the current offer on the Barclaycard Platinum Credit Card which gives new customers 15 months 0% on balance transfers (subject to a 2.9% admin fee) and interest-free purchases for 3 months.
You could also try the Barclaycard Gold Credit Card which gives 0% on balance transfers until 1st April 2011.
