You can now get the market leading 0% balance transfer offer with the Capital One Balance Transfer and Purchases Credit Card.
The balance transfer interest free period will run from the time you take out the credit card until 1st January 2010. This means you will get almost 16 months 0% if you apply for the card today.
If you do decide to transfer a balance from another card you will be charged an admin fee of 3% of the amount transferred. However, if you use our balance transfer calculator you will likely see that you are set to save a lot more in interest fees than the cost of this 3% admin fee.
You will also receive 0% on purchases until 1st January 2009.
Once the 0% offers run out, the typical APR will revert to a competitive 15.9%.
This card also comes with a free identity theft service and you will be able to register for free identity alerts provided by one of the UK’s main credit reference agencies, Equifax.
To apply for this card you need to be at least 21 years of age, have an excellent credit rating and have a minimum income of £10,000 per year.
