Instant decision credit cards can be great if you need to know whether you have been successful in your application for credit or not in a short time frame.
To speed things up even more, it would help if you had all the relevant information with you for when you made your application.
Firstly, you need to be eligible for the card and so need to meet the criteria:
- Resident in the UK
- Over 18 (some credit card providers will have an age restriction of 21 or even 25)
- Have a good credit rating (although some instant decision credit cards are for those with bad credit histories. Click on the link if you have a bad credit rating)
- Applying for a credit card for personal use
- Have a current bank account
- Have a regular income
When you apply for your instant decision credit card you will need the following information to hand:
- Personal information – title, name and contact details
- Home address – Type of accommodation, length of time at your current address and the post code
- Previous address – information regarding your previous dwelling if you have lived at your current address for fewer than three years
- Employment – employment status (employed, self-employed etc.), job title, details of your employer and their contact information
- Finances – information regarding your salary and your current bank account details
